You don't want to do that. Trust me. Norton is a very strong program and block almost everthing. Search free avg. I'ts a solid program and does'nt slow your pc down. Good luck!

use avast or avg, both are free norton's is not.
don't. Norton's and the others are the reason you get virus's. think bout it. a virus comes out, company defeats it. over time, no more virus's, so they go out of business. instead, they create virus's so people buy more of the programs.

remove all Norton's, symantec, etc and you will see a huge change in your machine.

only programs you need to remain safe are:

Spyware Blaster (run when you want to clean)

eTrust PestPatrol (runs all the time)

Hijack This (run when serious issue occurs)

Spybot (run when you want to clean)

WinPatrol (runs all the time)

CCleaner (run when you want to clean)

WinPatrol will stop anything from coming onto your computer that you did not allow. it will stop items and ask you. if you hit control, alt, delete and know that window, WinPatrol is similar to that but on steroids.
